Still basking in the memories of the beautiful morning I shared with Mike and his captain, Craig. Obviously a very tenuous moment, both Mike and Craig deftly made the experience so honorable and respectful. They were extremely thoughtful, and downright reverent, of my husband, of me and the situation. I am very honored to have met them and thrilled to have entrusted Waves of Remembrance with transitioning my husband on to his next adventure. I stumbled upon them by sheer coincidence, but truly it was the best, most serendipitous coincidence ever. I can’t think of a more ethereal, transcendent and profound way to honor your loved one’s life. Mike and Waves of Remembrance gently honor your nearest and dearest one’s life and wonderful memories. An experience to be cherished forever. To say that I’m thrilled to have stumbled upon them is a drastic understatement. I have been able to experience a few ocean loved one ash ceremonies, but I have to say the experience that we had with Waves of Remembrance was one of the most special experiences of my life. During trying times there are people who come into your path to help carry your load. Mike and his team are examples of that. We found then through a recommendation at the funeral home and after reading about their services, selected them for the ocean ceremony. Mike called me shortly after to ask about our needs and explaining the process.  He followed up a few days before the ceremony to confirm the weather and our schedule. My mom is partially disabled and they were able to accommodate her needs to step down into the boat and after.  The boat was extremely well kept , clean, spacious and smooth ride. The actual ceremony was peaceful but powerfully emotional. We were able to say our farewell the way we had hoped. Mike and Trey went above and beyond to help make my elderly friend’s final wishes come true. Living in Pennsylvania and trying to navigate having her ashes spread in Jupiter Florida could have been a daunting task. From the initial contact to the videos received, it could not have been more calming to me to know, she was well taken care of. Her final journey to have her ashes spread in the blue waters of Jupiter was beautifully done. Their thoughtfulness in picking up her ashes at the hotel to spreading flowers on the ocean was more than I could have asked for. I know my friend is at peace.
